Keeping vigilant for Ash dieback - Blog


You may have heard about the disease known as ‘Ash dieback’ that has killed off woods in Europe and now threatens the UK's forests. To date it has not been found in Devon but Ella is keeping a close eye on all the Ash trees at Ross Park.  It’s harder to detect in winter as the trees naturally lose their leaves during this time of year but Ella is looking out for the telltale dark lesions on the bark and will monitor the leaves next spring.
