~~It is with great sadness that we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close Ross Park. Over the last two weeks we have been reducing the numbers of guests at the park, to where this week we have had no one staying but we now have to make the more formal announcement. We will be following advice from the Government concerning reopening and will provide updates when that happens. This decision will obviously have financial implications for us but we have been working on our usual repairs, maintenance and improvements over the winter and we guarantee that we will be keeping the park neat and tidy and in good order, waiting for your return.  Please be assured that the team will still be here and working towards the time when we can re-open.
We hope you understand why we have undertaken this unprecedented action. Having seen the utter devastation this disease has caused in other countries it is time for us all to stand together and try to get back to normality as soon as possible. There has been clear indication of an increasing concern in the understandable views of local communities towards second home owners and holiday visitors into rural areas. In addition, the Government has asked for no unnecessary or non-essential travel which many would consider to include leisure trips.
We are contacting everyone who has bookings with us for the coming weeks to discuss arrangements and we would like to thank you for your co-operation and patience at this uncertain time.  Please feel free to get in touch.
We have been running Ross Park for nearly 25 years and this is very upsetting and sad for us; we are not making any decisions lightly but believe it is the right thing to do.  We will miss seeing our regular visitors and the opportunity to welcome new guests.  The Park feels so empty without you.  We want our team to be here ready to welcome you when this crisis is resolved and when that time comes, we hope you will support us and other family run caravan parks as much as you can.
Keep safe, stay well and we very much look forward to seeing you soon.
With our sincere thanks and best wishes to you all.
